In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Nadia police seized 55 kg of ganja (cannabis) and arrested three accused persons on August 3, 2024. The raid was conducted at Hansadanga More under Dhubulia PS, based on credible source information. The accused, identified as Sentu Hossain Sk, Bhola Dafadar, and Samir Das, all residents of Bethuadahari Rail Gate, were found transporting the contraband in a vehicle. Investigation is underway, with the accused providing incriminating statements likely to lead to further recoveries and arrests in an inter-state drug racket.
