On August 25, 2024, at 7:15 PM, Machura Gharami of Talukhuda, Chapra, in Nadia district, lodged a complaint about the kidnapping of her son. According to the complaint, the boy was abducted for ransom by an individual named Ajmat Sk at approximately 10:30 AM the same day.

Acting promptly on the complaint, the Investigating Officer (IO) launched an investigation and, through effective teamwork, managed to trace the victim to the Purba Burdwan district. The victim boy was safely rescued, and the suspects involved in the kidnapping were arrested on the same day, August 25, 2024.

The entire case was resolved within 12 hours, showcasing the swift and coordinated efforts of the police team.
